I’m Kit, mum of four and a crazy
goat lady!

I decided that I wanted to start
selling soap after having my fourth child. One day when I was washing her with
a little bottle of liquid soap that I’d got in a ‘my baby box’, I wondered what
was in this ‘suitable for sensitive newborn skin’ soap and when I read the
label, I was shocked, I had never heard of most of the ingredients and there
were so many different things.

I had made soap before as a way
of using the excess milk from my goats, after making cheese and ice cream for
the boys, this had used very few ingredients and I knew what they were! It was
in that moment that I decided I wasn’t going to keep washing my children with
soap that I didn’t know what was in it, I was only going to use soap id made
and that I wanted other parents to have that option too.

So that’s what I’m doing, making
goats milk soap for my family and yours.
